Clay classes include instruction in Sculpture, Hand-Building, and Wheel Throwing, as well as glazing and decorating techniques.

Clay.......$30.00 for 25 lbs. (includes bisque firing)
Glaze & Glaze firing......$1.50 per lb. (dry weight)

Class Descriptions
Classes meet for 1.5 hours and include instruction and studio time.
Cost for each class is $30.00 and class size is limited to 5 students

Wheel Throwing
Two lessons (1.5 hours each)
Learn how to throw a pot in lesson #1
Decorate your piece in lesson #2
One-on-one instruction
Use of tools and equipment session

Basic Clay I
Two lessons (1.5 hours each)
Introduction to clay and clay methods
Pinch, coil and making marks
Products: small pinch pots, Japanese tea bowl, or your choice

Basic Clay II
Two lessons (1.5 hours each)
A continuation of Basic Clay I
Combining shapes & slab construction
Making marks & adding engobes (clay decorations)
Products: Southwest canteen, vase, dish or your choice

After completing Basic Clay I and Basic Clay II, Studio Time is available at $10.00 per hour and instruction is available for an additional $10.00 per hour.
